Joliet, IL - Deerbrook Care Centre, 306 N. Larkin Ave. celebrated it's 35th anniversary and the grand opening of it's brand new in-house Dialysis unit last week.  An open house was held from 4-8:00pm on Thursday, September 16th and from 11-2:00pm on Friday, Spetember, 17th. Despite the bad weather on Thursday evening, there was close to 200 people in attendance over the 2 day period, including many local area doctors, Medical Directors, nurses,and hospital case managers.  Senator AJ Wilhelmi also stopped by to take a tour and stayed to draw the winning raffle tickets. Local radio station, WJOL provided a live broadcast with a team from Home Helper's who air their show, "Friends Over Fifty", every Friday afternoon at 12:15.  The administration and staff at Deerbrook Care Centre would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make this event such a wonderful success.  As Joliet's resource for complex medical issues such as kidney disease, orthopedic rehabilitation and Alzheimer's disease, we are here to offer support and education for you or someone you know.  Please contact our professional staff with your questions or care concerns.
