Joliet, IL-Deerbrook Care Centre hosted an art show last week that showcased the works of students from Joliet West High School and Joliet Central High School.  There were over 100 student submissions for this show with the top 45 pieces being chosen for display.  The show was open to the public, who along with the residents of Deerbrook, voted on the photos.  Over 100 people showed up to view the amazing work created by the students.  
The show was a huge success with the residents and public alike.  Prizes were given for first, and second places as it was a tie for second place.  The recipients were:
1st Maggie Risher with her picture "Michigan Apples" ($40.00 Visa gift card)
2nd Alyssa Yanez ($20.00 gift card)
2nd Mary Aldham ($20.00 gift card)

The staff and residents would like to thank the students of Joliet West High School and Joliet Central High School for there generosity and those who attended for their support.  Deerbrook Care Centre has long been a resource for the community and is glad to be part of such a special event.
